Efffective scenario planning allows managers to consider the advantages of building flexibility into their operations, e.g. designing facilities that can be used in different ways, training staff for broad range tasks, and developing strategies that have the flexibility to take advantage of new opportunities and deal with unexpected crises.  The webinar will teach participants how to use internal and external environmental information to focus on those elements most critical to the future of the organization in terms of human capital needs as well as provide examples of scenarios used by companies in a variety of industries.

The session will then focus on using the scenarios as the basis for conducting demand forecasting to determine the right number of employees as well as the correct mix of skills and capabilities.  The participants will learn how to identify critical job roles, then look at tools and techniques available to capture the necessary information.  The techniques presented will use case study examples to cover both quantitative and qualitative methods.
