The No ***hole Rule

There is simply no better way to put it, some managers are ***holes . The question is, why do organizations tolerate this behavior? The good news is that not everyone thinks having mean managers is ok. Many organizations are adopting a ‘no ***hole rule’. Dr. Robert (Bob) Sutton describes how they do it.

TV and film often depict managers as being jerks.  While this is clearly done for dramatic effect the depiction works because people can relate to it.  Too many managers do not behave decently towards their employees and peers.  Some organizations have decided this is not good for business and as a result have instituted a ‘no ***hole rule.’  This webinar looks at this simple approach for creating a more effective and more humane organization.
