For those who are new to compensation plan design or those who wear multiple hats within an organization, the terminology associated with market-based pay alone can be overwhelming. This webcast will introduce the learner to basic concepts of market-based pay plan design. The hands-on approach used by the presenter will allow learners to immediately apply the concepts presented to their own compensation plan design.
The presenter will review and define commonly used terminology and provide formulas used to develop pay ranges. Such information will allow the learner to utilize Excel to design and cost pay plans. A brief introduction to linking pay to performance will round out the presentation.
