Employers need to see more relevance for their benefits dollar: survival requires realigning benefits strategies with business realities. Finite resources are forcing unprecedented decisions in employer-sponsored health and welfare. Employers are – or need to be – disassembling their legacy benefits structures and rebuilding new configurations. This presentation addresses the tough questions facing benefits professionals, and examines how the industry is transforming as employers view the future of benefits. Participants will learn how providing valued support and assistance through key conversations and communications segmentation techniques can be undertaken at little to no financial or administrative cost.
Speakers will include Dr. Ronald S. Leopold, MD, MBA, MPH, whose role at MetLife includes clinical program development, industry thought leadership, clinical data analysis and new product development including absence management programs.
Jeremy Pincus, Ph.D., Principal at The Forbes Consulting Group, who is the founder and co-chairman of the LTC industry's Baby Boomer Task Force, dedicated to promoting financial and health preparedness, and is a member of the Washington-based think tank, the Long-Term Care Financing Strategy Group.
Employers can help their employees prepare for the range of needs brought about due to our aging workforce. Ron and Jeremy will discuss strategies to communicate effectively with employees about benefits as a whole and what new responsibilities employers have towards their employees.
