Human Resources: Corporate Social Responsibility: Connecting to Employees and Creating Sustainable Business

This presentation will cover the impact that an organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts can have on its employees. We will also discuss the results of a recently conducted global research study that examined the effect of CSR efforts on an organization’s current and future employees.

Many organizations have recently taken notice of the potential benefits of corporate social responsibility (CSR/CR) efforts for not only the current employees, but also for those who may work there. A recent study from the Kenexa Research Institute examined the effects of CSR/CR practices have on employee opinions. For example, the positive effect that an organization’s CSR practices has on how an employee feels about their senior leadership, employee engagement, and whether or not an employee feels compelled to join or stay with the organization will be discussed. Examples of how organizational leaders in CR/CSR are connecting with employees.
