Cendant is a diverse company instantly recognizable by the brands of their individual business units, including Howard Johnson´s, Ramada, Avis, Budget, and Coldwell Banker.
Culturally, Cendant's business units are encouraged to follow the reward strategies and structure of the markets they serve. Yet, Cendant also sought to have enterprise class visibility and practices for the decisions made by the individual business units. The current solution serves variations of salary, stock, and variable pay for 10 business units and approximately 55,000 employees.
