Zywave, Inc., announced today James (Jim) Emling as president

Milwaukee, WI – Nov. 25, 2009

-Zywave, Inc., a leading provider of software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) enterprise automation solutions for the employee benefits and property & casualty insurance distribution industry, announced today James (Jim) Emling as president.
-Emling joined Zywave in 1996 as a software development intern, quickly becoming principal technical architect of Zywave’s initial product offerings, Decision Master® Warehouse, Broker Briefcase® and MyWave®.
-In 2000, Emling was promoted to vice president and chief technology officer where he continued in his role to pioneer Web-based, enterprise-class applications including development, product positioning, pricing, etc., along with establishing Zywave’s customer-focused service model and structure.
-In 2005, Emling was named as executive vice president. Built upon ongoing continued success in the marketplace reflected in year-on-year, double-digit growth, he was also named as chief operating officer in 2008.
-Today, Emling will serve as president and chief operating officer to poise the company for future growth. Zywave's executive management team will continue to report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William (Bill) Haack.
-Emling graduated summa cum laude with honors as the highest ranked student in his class from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in computer science and accounting. He holds a master’s of business administration degree in strategic marketing from Marquette University, where he also graduated summa cum laude with academic distinction.
