WPG Gives Back With Backpacks!

Florham Park, NJ, October 13, 2008 - As strong believers in "paying it forward", The WorkPlace Group® family of companies (WPG) has created their WPG Corporate Citizenship Initiative.  It is their way to give back to the community and help those less fortunate.  In these hard economic times organizations that suffer most are charities and, in essence, children. 
 
In a continued effort to do their part, WPG has teamed up with the NJ Division of Youth & Family Services to sponsor a backpack and book drive for New Jersey children in foster care.  Many of these children move from home to home with nothing more than a garbage bag to transport their belongings. 
 
"We are collecting books and slightly worn backpacks for donation.  Our hope is that these backpacks and books will put smiles on the faces of deserving children, inspire hope, and increase literacy.  We have actively decided that as a company we need to set an example by being good corporate citizens, especially when we are in an environment of such economic turmoil" said Danielle Lindner, Chief Operation Officer of The WorkPlace Group, Inc.  
 
Starting Wednesday, October 8th, WPG will be collecting books and slightly worn backpacks for donation.  They will be handing in the bulk of items that they collect on November 26th, the day before Thanksgiving.
