WorldatWork (www.worldatwork.org) is a not-for-profit association that started out as the source for compensation knowledge and, over the past 50 years, has grown to be the knowledge leader in compensation, benefits and total rewards, representing more than 23,000 members worldwide with headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz.
WorldatWork members design and administer the pay and benefits programs for employees in their companies. WorldatWork holds training classes, publishes articles and provides Web content to help its members do their jobs better - thus, helping to improve the quality of work-life for all employees. The association also publishes the largest and most comprehensive annual Salary Budget Survey, which provides projected salary budget increases for the coming year for the United States and Canada.
The NAHR (www.nationalacademyhr.org) is an organization that recognizes the highest levels of professional achievement and performance in the human resources field. Annually peers elect Fellows and Honored Organizations, and membership in the Academy is considered the highest honor that can be achieved by an individual or organization in the HR profession.

NAHR also installed WorldatWork Member Patrick Wright, Ph.D., as a 2005 Fellow. Dr. Wright is a professor of human resource studies in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations and serves as director of the Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies at Cornell University. Dr. Wright is a former member of the WorldatWork Board of Directors and has been a WorldatWork member since 2000.
Ellen Galinsky, a leading authority on work and family issues, was also installed as a 2005 Fellow. Galinsky is president and co-founder of Families and Work Institute, a non-profit organization that conducts research on the changing family, changing workforce and changing community. Since 1996 she has been a member of and key contributor to Alliance for Work-Life Progress (www.awlp.org), an affiliate organization of WorldatWork. WorldatWork, Dr. Wright and Galinsky were all recognized by the NAHR at a Nov. 3 dinner ceremony held at The Yale Club in New York City.
Since 1955, WorldatWork members have designed and administered the compensation, benefits and work-life programs for millions of employees in North America and around the world.
