MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (March 19, 2007) — Workscape, Inc., a proven provider of outsourced benefits, compensation and performance management solutions, today announced that the company has received recognition in IDC’s Worldwide Software on Demand 2005 Vendor Analysis report — for the second straight year[1]. Workscape is ranked 16th out of the 30 providers listed in terms of global software revenue associated with on-demand delivery for calendar year 2005.
IDC cited in the report that revenue associated with the on-demand delivery model will continue to rise due to increased market awareness coupled with increased customer adoption of this delivery model and more on-demand provider offerings. From a customer vantage standpoint, IDC believes the on-demand delivery model helps provide lower implementation/maintenance costs, improved workforce productivity, and reduced application downtime.
IDC’s Worldwide Software on Demand 2005 Vendor Analysis study examined the top 30 software on demand providers in terms of their 2005 global revenue. IDC anticipates that the high growth rates reflected in 2005 will continue through the next several years.
Tim Clifford, Workscape’s President and CEO, stated, “We are honored once again to receive this recognition from IDC, for the second consecutive year. Our company continues to grow at a steady pace, in particular by providing solutions for the unique Software on Demand needs of larger global organizations.”
