Chicago, IL, February 16, 2005 – Staff Management, a leading provider of vendor on premise staffing and management solutions, is now ranked 65th among the largest U.S. staffing firms based on worldwide revenue, according to Staffing Industry Report magazine’s annual survey for 2003. The results of the study, the most recent figures available, also showed Staff Management as the fastest growing staffing firm in the U.S.
Among the giant multinational corporations and private companies listed in the prestigious $100 Million Club, Staff Management stood out as a key player in the staffing industry. “Staff Management’s success stems from a commitment to operational excellence in the services we provide to Fortune 500 companies and other high volume users of contingent labor,” stated Michael Miles, president of Staff Management. “Major employers are increasingly turning to outsourcers, like Staff Management, to increase workforce productivity and reduce overall labor costs, especially in labor intensive industries like manufacturing, distribution and call centers.”
The median growth rate was 3.1% for the 86 U.S. staffing companies who made the $100 Million club based on 2003 revenues. Staff Management is among the only three firms to record at least 50% annual revenue growth in 2003. While the ranking of the top five largest U.S staffing firms showed positive growth, as a whole, the U.S. staffing industry shrank slightly in 2003. In fact, 35% of the companies on the list showed negative growth. The staffing industry bounced back in 2004, showing a revenue growth rate of 18% in the third quarter. Staff Management also had another double-digit growth year in 2004, and anticipates an even higher ranking on the list of the top staffing firms this year.
