Retail IT Industry Veteran to Guide Fast-Growing Workforce Alignment Solutions Provider
LIBERTY CORNER, NJ – (June 7, 2005) – People Business Network, Inc. (PBN), a leading provider of Workforce Alignment Solutions for Fortune 500 Companies, today announced that Evelyn Follit has joined the company’s Board of Directors. Ms. Follit brings years of financial, IT and HR management experience to PBN’s Board of Directors, and will provide guidance to PBN at a time of fast growth and expanded sales to Fortune 500 customers. People Business Network recently announced a $6 million Series A venture capital investment from Trident Capital. PBN customers include Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless, BellSouth, Washington Mutual and American Airlines.

Evelyn Follit joins PBN’s board following her retirement as Senior Vice President, Chief Organizational Enabling Services Officer and Chief Information Officer at RadioShack Corporation. Her primary responsibility at RadioShack was to ensure that the Company’s global business was enabled and supported by the Information Technology and Human Resources departments.
Prior to RadioShack, Follit served as ACNielsen's Vice President Operations/Engineering and Dun & Bradstreet's global planning and technology leader. Follit also worked for ITT in various European telephony operations, process improvement and organization planning assignments, and for IBM in both technology implementation and financial and product planning positions.
In addition to joining the Board of Directors at PBN, Follit is on the Boards of Directors at Linens-n-Things, a leading national large format specialty retailer of home textiles, house wares and home accessories and at the publicly traded Catalina Marketing Corporation, which provides strategic, targeted marketing solutions for consumer goods companies and retailers.

From 2002 to 2004, Follit chaired the National Retail Federation's (NRF) CIO Council. NRF is the world's largest retail trade association. Follit is a member of the International Board of Visitors at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, where she was instrumental in obtaining RadioShack partner product contributions to establish TCU's state-of-the-art "RadioShack eBusiness Laboratory." She was a member of the Hewlett-Packard Cross Industries Board of Advisors and Microsoft's Retail Client Advisory Board. She was also a member of RadioShack's Corporate Citizenship Council, which oversees the company's charitable activities.
Follit is a frequent recipient of Top IT awards. In 2003, she was named one of the 50 most powerful people in retail I/T by Executive Technology magazine and was named a co-recipient of the Society for Information Management's "CIO of the Year" award.
In 2002, the American Friends of the Jerusalem College of Technology, on behalf of the Women's School of Engineering, honored Follit as a pioneering woman in technology. Also in 2002, Follit received the Executive Technology magazine/Compaq Computer award for CIO/IT Leadership and Innovation. Computerworld chose Follit as one of the 100 Premier IT Leaders in the country in 2001 and Retail Info Systems News recognized Follit as one of the "25 Most Influential People in Retail for 2001." In 1999, Retail Technology magazine recognized Follit as one of the top 10 CIOs in retailing. "Information Week" designated her as one of the top 10 CIOs across America and ranked RadioShack's I/T organization ("RSTS") at No. 39 in the top 500.
