This webinar – hosted by Avilar’s Director of Workforce Solutions, Christine Hipple, will reveal some of the disasters encountered by organizations when developing their competency programs and how those situations can be averted.  Webinar participants will also learn how to identify skills gaps and monitor for improvements in skill levels by managing their employees’ historical skills data, prioritizing training needs and effectively measuring the ROI of training, recruiting and other talent management activities.

Christine Hipple has more than 20 years of strategic human resources and training experience across several fields. She consults with Avilar clients on the company’s primary offerings - WebMentor LMS and iSkills - as well as contributes to Avilar’s strategic direction. Prior to joining Avilar, Hipple was the director of Leadership and Professional Development at Magellan Health Services.  She has also worked as a Senior Training Consultant for the U.S. Senate, as director of Training and Performance Management at University Physicians, Inc. and been an independent Organizational Development and Training Consultant. Her portfolio of workforce development initiatives include establishment of both human resource and learning departments, implementation of a competency-based pay-for-performance program, development of a formal internal mentoring program and competency-based talent selection processes. Hipple has also served on the board of directors of the Maryland Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and recently completed a term as President of the chapter.
