Greensboro, NC/August 21, 2006 - The Board of Directors of The Todd Organization, a nationwide leader in the design, financing, and administration of supplemental retirement plans and other executive benefits, today announced that Ward Russell has been named President of the firm.

He´s a proven leader and an innovator. Ward not only has a long track record of meeting and exceeding clients´ expectations, he helps those around him to be inspired to do the same," said R. David Sprinkle, Chief Executive Officer of the firm.

Messrs. Sprinkle and Russell have worked closely together throughout the 17-year period that Mr. Russell has been with The Todd Organization. Mr. Russell assumes the duties of President from Mr. Sprinkle, who will remain Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Russell´s previous position at The Todd Organization was Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer.
Mr. Russell is a resident of Asheboro, North Carolina. Before joining
The Todd Organization he served in the securities brokerage business. Mr. Russell holds an M.B.A. from Georgia State University and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
