Durham, N.C. – The Leadership Trust®, a for-profit leadership development organization, provides pro bono services for local non profit organizations, and Housing for New Hope will experience their fourth pro bono offering on March 16, 2008, this time to support not only the success of those transitioning into total independence but also the work of counselors and other staff members who further assist this target group.
Terry Allebaugh, executive director of Housing for New Hope reports “results beyond my highest expectations” from past pro bono offerings that include a personalized leadership development program, a teambuilding retreat for his management team, and programs for those moving out of crisis into a more stabilized living arrangement. “Services from The Leadership Trust® have energized our management team to communicate in a more efficient and collaborative manner, thereby noticeably increasing morale and productivity. We’re excited about this upcoming workshop being provided by Dr. Holly Latty-Mann, president of The Leadership Trust®. I can count on the results being immediate and of substance.”

The Leadership Trust® is a for-profit leadership development organization, focusing on strengthening executives’ soft skills (people skills) to enhance the impact of their technical skills. With past and current alliances across several NC universities including Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and Wake Forest Babcock Graduate School of Management, The Leadership Trust® uses self-awareness processes to increase one’s emotional quotient. This involves identifying root cause of roadblocks to optimal performance, oftentimes centered on attitudinal beliefs that are fear based and beyond one’s current level of self-awareness. The Leadership Trust® helps companies build behaviors and cultures that support a lean culture, heightened team playing, productivity and morale, improved quality services and therefore higher revenue streams with increased profits. This program is an excellent foundation and complement to all other leadership workshops. This should be a requirement for all leaders.
