The Henry Wine Group has been using a payroll service bureau for human resources, benefits, and payroll, management, but when HR/payroll team members found themselves disappointed in the service, functionality, and costs associated with the payroll outsourcer, the California company decided to make a switch. Javier Sanchez, The Henry Wine Group's HRIS and IT project manager, had used UltiPro with a previous employer, and he recommended that his organization include UltiPro as one of the vendors to evaluate. After careful evaluation and due diligence, in July 2006, the wine distributor selected UltiPro.
