MONTREAL, August 22, 2006 - Technomedia Training Inc., the Canadian
industry leader in Web-based talent management and human capital
development solutions, announced today the renewal of a five-year
contract with Alcan Inc. for their Talent Management System (TMS).
Distributed through Bell Canada, TMS is a solution based on
Technomedia's TM SIGAL application which offers a wide range of e-HR and
e-Learning services to Alcan's employees worldwide.
An organization can optimize benefits by integrating a range of Human
Resources and Learning management processes under a common talent
management system, as is the case with Alcan's TMS solution where the TM
SIGAL application modules are deployed, all in a secure, user-friendly
and highly dependable environment.
The value of the TMS solution has been clearly demonstrated over the
last five years at Alcan. Specifically, increased usage of the TMS
solution and sustained enrichment of the central talent database have
supported Alcan's commitment to its employees' talent development and
recognition.
"Alcan is a highly valued client for Technomedia. Our relationship dates
back to 2000 and we are proud of the on-going trust and business
partnership we have built over the years", said Alain Latry, President
and CEO of Technomedia. "The renewal of this contract proves the
solidity of the relationship with Alcan as well as our common commitment
to make TM SIGAL always more efficient and powerful through a continuous
improvement process, clearly contributing to Alcan's sustained business
performance and talent development across its global business."
