Synygy Names Scott Cawood as Vice President, Worldwide Human Resources

Chester, Pa., December 18, 2006 —Synygy, Inc., an authority on sales performance management and the largest provider of solutions for solving problems related to the management of sales compensation plans, today announced that Scott Cawood has joined Synygy as vice president, Worldwide Human Resources.

 In his new role, Mr. Cawood is responsible for the company’s global human resources strategy, systems, processes, and organization.  Mr. Cawood is a member of the Synygy management team and reports directly to Mark A. Stiffler, president and CEO of Synygy.

 Most recently, Mr. Cawood was founder and president of ModernThink LLC, the firm responsible for launching “Best Places to Work” programs in 18 states.  Their clients included Dow Chemical, Kellogg, PwC, Federal Home Loan Bank, and Sovereign Bank.  Prior to that, he held senior executive positions at Revlon, the Great Place to Work Institute (creator of Fortune magazine's annual "100 Best Companies to Work For" list), and W.L. Gore & Associates.
 Mr. Cawood speaks frequently on the topic of how to turn a company's culture into a competitive advantage and is co-author of Destination Profit: Creating People-Profit Opportunities in Your Organization (Davies-Black Publishing, 2006), an examination of companies that are leading the way in creating great organizations where people want to work.
 Mr. Cawood holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Organization Behavior from Kennedy Western University, an M.A. in University Administration, Labor and Industrial Relations Cognate from Michigan State University, and a B.A. in Communication from Michigan State University.
