New York (Sept. 15, 2009) — ORC Worldwide, a global human resources consulting firm based in New York City, announces that Suzy Johnson has joined its communication and marketing practice as director. Leveraging more than 15 years of experience in strategic human resources and leadership communications, Johnson will serve as a strategic consultant to ORC’s current clients while also helping to further grow the company’s roster.
Johnson’s wide-ranging and diverse expertise encompasses all aspects of Total Rewards optimization including compensation, performance management, health and wellness, retirement and savings programs, and work/life solutions. Prior to joining ORC, she served as communication director and account manager at Buck Consultants.
Recognized for her work by numerous prestigious communication awards programs, including the International Association of Business Communicators IRIS Awards, the Apex Awards for Publication Excellence and the Graphic Arts Awards for the Association of Graphic Communication, Johnson is also a frequent industry speaker and has served on the Board of Directors for the Council of Communication Management.
Johnson holds a master’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee and a bachelor degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Ky. – both in English – and has completed Ph.D. work at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn.
