SITE Recruits 500 New Members

California Chapter Sets Example for All

CHICAGO - SITE has recruited more than 500 new members, increasing the total membership to nearly 2,000. The 500 new members represent a variety of countries and companies. Finland accounts for 100 new members making it the largest European chapter of the organization.

Twenty-six of the new members have the fortunate distinction of being members of the Southern California Chapter of SITE, who have submitted five entries for the 2005 SITE Crystals Awards. While the winner of the award has yet to be announced, Southern California Chapter won the SITE Chapter Challenge for Crystals for the second year in a row.

"Our very best congratulations to the members of the Southern California Chapter on winning the Chapter Challenge," said SITE President Bill Boyd, CMP, CMM, CITE. Mr. Boyd is also President of Sunbelt Motivation & Travel, Inc., Dallas, Texas. "By submitting the highest number of entries they are proving the value of SITE membership through collaboration, team work and industry unity," said Boyd.

The Southern California Chapter will be recognized at the SITE Crystal Awards ceremony, and has been awarded one complimentary registration and $400 USD to attend the International Conference 4-6 November in Toronto.

"The Crystal Awards provide a unique opportunity to recognize leaders in the incentive and travel industry," said SITE CEO, Brenda Anderson. "The Southern California Chapter is an impressive testament to the quality and intensity of the work being done by all  of our almost 2,000 members," she continued.
