Washington, DC, USA; July 11, 2006 - Boyden announces the addition of Suzanne E. Shapiro to the Baltimore-Washington regional office as a Managing Director in the firm´s Financial Services and Specialty practices.
Shapiro has 12 years of retained search experience and more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, and has additionally practiced commercial real estate, representing both landlords and tenants in leasing transactions. Previously, Shapiro was Executive Director with Cabot Consultants, a national search boutique, and prior to Cabot, was a member of the global legal and financial services practices with both Korn/Ferry International and Heidrick & Struggles.
Before entering search, Shapiro spent over 20 years in financial services and has expertise in the areas of commercial, consumer, and mortgage banking, as well as asset management, investment banking, and commercial real estate. She held management positions with Citicorp Mortgage, Sallie Mae, Bank of Boston (currently Bank of America), and Calvert Group.
