WEST DES MOINES, IOWA, December 5, 2006 -- GeoLearning, Inc., the leading provider of Managed Learning Services and hosted learning and performance platforms, announced today that the GeoLearning Customer Care team was named the “Customer Service Team of the Year” at the 1st Annual Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards in Las Vegas last night.
The awards were jointly presented by Selling Power magazine, the leading sales management publication with 145,000 subscribers in 67 countries, and The Stevie® Awards, which have been hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (April 27, 2005). In accepting the Stevie before a packed ballroom, GeoLearning’s Customer Care Manager, Noel Nicholas, said, “I’d like to accept this award on behalf of the fantastic Customer Care organization at GeoLearning and the hundreds of global customers we are dedicated to supporting 24x7x365.”
More than 300 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Global Sales Team of the Year, National VP of Sales of the Year and Highest Sales Growth Rate.
“We congratulate all of the Stevie winners and finalists in the first annual Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards for their historic accomplishments,” said Gerhard Gschwandtner, founder and publisher of Selling Power. “As these awards grow in entries and visibility over the years, these companies will be able to look back with pride and say that they were the first-ever winners of these coveted awards.”
