Phoenix, Ariz. – Jan. 22, 2007 – MphasiS Healthcare Solutions (MHS), a provider of health benefit management and business process outsourcing (BPO) services, announced today that it has entered into a three-year agreement with Resolve Health Plan Administrators, LLC (“Resolve”), based in Ormond Beach, Fla. Resolve is a third-party administrator (TPA) which provides claims management services for self-insured companies through partnership with local physician organizations. Resolve is a subsidiary of Joel S. Duhl, Inc., a company that provides management, contract negotiations, group purchasing programs and other consulting services for physician organizations, independent practice associations and physician hospital organizations.
Resolve will utilize MHS’ HEALTHpac 4 products to deliver a high degree of efficiency and reduced costs associated with managing employee claims. The company will also leverage the MHS data center to oversee the software, I.T. and disaster recovery administration. MHS is dedicated to long term support of its HEALTHpac 4 product, positioned to serve the TPA market.
Resolve provides turnkey third party administration (TPA) services for physician organizations and physician-hospital organizations that are locally owned and operated. These provider-based organizations can quickly establish their own TPA business, while Resolve manages the health benefit claims processing for self-insured companies on their behalf.
