NEW YORK: Nov. 27, 2007 -- Rania Sedhom has joined Buck Consultants as a Principal in the firm's New York City office.

Sedhom joins Buck from BDO Seidman, LLP, where she served as Regional Leader of the Labor, Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice Group.   

Sedhom’s experience includes advising on retirement plans, health and welfare programs, and other HR consulting issues. Her expertise covers ERISA transactional work, investment advisory consulting, fiduciary responsibility, QDROs, withdrawal liability, M&A issues, and workplace policies.

Sedhom has been quoted in USA Today, Fortune, Forbes, Business Week, and has appeared on NPR, Bloomberg Radio, MSNBC, and Good Morning America. She has presented on PPA, health care cost containment, and employee retention.

Sedhom received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, Barnard College, and her JD from Syracuse University, College of Law.
