Quality Care for Children improved the quality of child care for more than 100,000 children in Georgia last year by:
- Assisting child care programs in achieving high quality standards, including national accreditation
- Creating new quality child care programs in communities where they are needed
- Training and supporting child care teachers
- Ensuring that children in more than 1,100 child care programs get nutritious snacks and meals
- Assisting parents in finding and choosing quality child care, including parents of children with special needs
- Assisting families in crisis by paying for child care
