"This study is a substantial tool for companies nationwide. The AMPC All-Stars are truly remarkable companies that deserve the recognition and credibility that comes with it," said Dario Priolo, Managing Director of the Profiles International Research Institute.
The AMPC study focuses specifically on labor productivity, which is defined as the revenue produced per full-time employee or full-time employee equivalent in 2009. The study focuses only on American organizations. In order to determine which companies were the most productive, the Profiles Research Institute analyzed financial data from over 2,200 publicly traded companies. A series of comprehensive studies were then conducted on each company listed in the AMPC study, in order to determine the "best practices" exhibited by each organization.
