MEMPHIS -- (Oct. 5, 2006) - Primacy Relocation and Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management are pleased to announce the Spring 2006 Primacy Relocation Scholarship winner, Callis Hutchings, from the school´s main campus in Glendale, Arizona.
Primacy Relocation and Thunderbird first partnered in 2003 to recognize and support globally engaged business graduate students. All candidates for the Primacy Scholarship must have previous academic credit or work experience in human resources or finance and lived, worked or studied outside of their native countries.
Callis studied at the University of Arizona and received his bachelor´s degree in East Asian Studies, specifically Chinese. He has since served in Hong Kong as a full-time missionary, where he learned to speak fluent Cantonese. His appreciation for the relocation industry comes from moving 47 times and living in 39 different places, including China and Taiwan.
After Callis completes his MBA in Global Management, he plans to remain in the United States working in change management and leadership development, although he expects to return to China in the future.
