PricewaterhouseCoopers Personal Brand Week Highlights "Your Online Brand"

Day Four of Week-Long Event to Help College Students Develop Vital Professional Skills Underscores Importance of Keeping a Clean Online Image

New York (Vocus/PRWEB ) February 26, 2010 -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) continued Personal Brand Week today by providing new interactive exercises and expert advice focused on "Your Online Brand." The material discusses the influence that online profiles can have on future employers and colleagues, and emphasizes the importance of maintaining a clean online image.

“Promoting yourself virtually is no longer optional, but never forget that professional networking contacts might be reviewing your online profile,” says Holly Paul, national recruiting leader, PricewaterhouseCoopers. “Just as you work hard to build a strong resume and in-person presence, you have to put equal time and effort into developing a clean, professional online presence.”

Now in the fourth day of its week-long event designed to help students differentiate themselves in a crowded job market, PwC is making the free tips and worksheets available each day for all visitors to www.facebook.com/PwCUSCareers and www.pwc.tv.

Tomorrow, the final day of Personal Brand Week, PwC will discuss being "Open to Change." The featured content will help students understand how to answer the crucial job interview question, "Where do you see yourself in five years?"

PricewaterhouseCoopers will create a Personal Brand Week e-book at the end of the week-long event that will be made available to all students and college and university Career Services offices nationwide. The e-book will feature personal branding insights gained from the social media community through status updates on facebook.com/PwCUSCareers and on Twitter under the #PwCPBW hash tag. PricewaterhouseCoopers will select the best advice and fully credit any comments or experiences selected for inclusion.
