MINNEAPOLIS/BRUSSELS (July 23, 2007) – Personnel Decisions International (PDI) today announced the promotion of Klaus J. Schuler to senior vice president of the company’s European, Middle East, and African (EMEA) region.
As vice president and managing director for PDI’s EMEA region, Schuler doubled the company’s European business. As senior vice president, Schuler will continue to shape the further growth in professional solutions and human resources strategic excellence for global enterprises.
“Klaus’ specialization in coaching and facilitating leadership teams through organizational change is a huge asset to PDI,” said Cindy Marsh, president and chief operating officer of PDI. “We look forward to his continued success both within PDI and with our clients.”
Since 2002, Schuler has led PDI’s EMEA region with responsibility for 10 PDI locations as well as several alliances and partnerships. An expert on the design of large-scale organizational change processes, he consults with organizations on strategy and organizational effectiveness, helping HR to become a strategic function.
Klaus earned a German Diploma in Educational Sciences and Advanced Training in Transactional Analyses and Neurolinguistics. He is the author of numerous articles and research studies on the professionalism of the HR function, including “PDI Profilor®.” In 1985, Klaus founded and was chief executive officer of WBB, the first organization in Germany to provide professional training for HR specialists.
