Organizations around the globe face the challenge of hiring large quantities of hourly workers over a vast geographic area. Often, the positions they fill are seasonal, cyclical or lend themselves to high turnover rates creating unique challenges and opportunities within the hiring process. In industries like banking, health care, retail, airline and hotel industries among other sectors, hiring managers are faced with the need to hire quickly while also focusing on quality. The High Volume Hiring track offers education and insight into real-world experiences with this unique type of hiring.
"High volume hiring, by its very nature, presents unique challenges," said Erik Morse, head of High Volume solutions at Peopleclick. "This track is aimed at providing organizations with the information they require in order to implement an effective hiring process."
"HCI's High Volume Hiring track is focused on an often overlooked issue many organizations face-how to hire many people and hire them quickly, without sacrificing quality," said Allan Schweyer, HCI's President and Executive Director.
These HCI webcasts are approved for 1.5 hours re-certification credit towards the Human Capital Strategist (HCS) and Senior Human Capital Strategist (SHCS) designations at the Human Capital Institute and, as an approved HRCI provider, apply towards PHR, SPHR and GPHR re-certifications. The High Volume Hiring track is underwritten by Peopleclick. More information about HCI's education and research tracks is available at www.humancapitalinstitute.org.
