PeopleAnswers Announces First-Ever Users Conference

Dallas Mavericks and HDNet CEO Terdema Ussery will provide keynote presentation.

Addison, Texas (PRWEB) September 8, 2006 -- PeopleAnswers, Inc., a leading provider of online behavioral assessment technology, announced today that it will hold its first users conference, entitled PeopleAnswers Forum 2006, on October 12 and 13 at the Palomar Hotel in Dallas.

The conference will feature Dallas Mavericks and HDNet CEO Terdema Ussery delivering the keynote presentation entitled From Watts to the Top of the League. Born and raised in Watts, Calif., Ussery could have taken a far different path, but he rose above his surroundings to earn degrees from Princeton (1981), Harvard (1984), and a law degree from California-Berkeley (1987). Ussery was general counsel and commissioner of the Continental Basketball Association from 1991-93. He then served as president of Nike Sports Management, where he was responsible for marketing Nike's pro athletes and negotiating contracts. Ussery was hired on April 14, 1997 by Ross Perot, Jr. to turn around the struggling Dallas NBA Mavericks organization. In his first season with the Mavericks, he led the successful campaign to have the Dallas voters approve a several hundred million dollar bond package, which helped fund the construction of the new $430 million American Airlines Center. Ussery was also actively involved in securing the $200 million dollar naming rights partnership with Dallas/Fort Worth-based American Airlines for the downtown facility. Ussery was recently named Black Enterprise´s Co-Executive of the Year, alongside Princeton classmate Steve Mills and one of Sports Illustrated´s 101 Most Influential Minorities in Sports.

In addition to Mr. Ussery´s keynote, the conference agenda will feature speakers from PeopleAnswers clients including ADP, Sbarro Restaurants, Neiman Marcus, Pulte Homes, and Safety Kleen among many others.

Designed specifically for the senior HR executive, PeopleAnswers Forum 2006 will be a unique opportunity to benchmark HR department strategies, improve organizational performance based on the best practices of peers, and gain critical insight on the trends driving the future of human capital management.

"We are calling this year´s user conference Forum 2006 to reflect the learning environment that we are trying to create for our attendees," according to PeopleAnswers CEO Gab Goncalves. He continues, "We are confident that with the stellar roster of speakers including Mr. Ussery, it will be a memorable experience for all of our clients."
