PAPAGEORGIOU JOINS FIRST ADVANTAGE AS DIVISION EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 4, 2006-First Advantage Corporation (NASDAQ: FADV), a global risk mitigation and business solutions provider, today announced that Chuck Papageorgiou has joined the Employer Services segment management team as division executive vice president of international services. 

Through its operations in the United States and in the Asia-Pacific region, the segment delivers recruiting services, applicant tracking software, skills and behavioral assessments, tax credits screening, background screening, occupational health services and other services to organizations worldwide.

In this newly created position, Papageorgiou reports to Bart Valdez, group president of the Employer Services segment, and is responsible for leading the unit´s international operations and the development of its strategy.  He will work closely with the company´s senior Information Technology (IT) leaders to manage international technology issues and will assist in the formulation of future international technological initiatives.

Prior to joining First Advantage, Papageorgiou was the founder and managing partner of Ideasphere, a contract-executive and consulting company delivering strategy development, operations streamlining, outsourcing, corporate alliances and mergers and acquisitions leadership to high tech industries.  In this consultative role, he worked with senior executives in organizations undergoing major business transformations, including
AT&T, AT&T Wholesale Markets, Bellsouth Managed Network Solutions, EDS, CompuCredit and Textron.  Previously, Papageorgiou founded Intellisource Advisory Services, a technology implementation and strategic management consulting group.  He also worked with M.F Smith & Assoc., a technology implementation and strategic management consulting company, and served seven years with United Parcel Service in IT, Operations, International Strategic Planning and Quality Planning.

As a global speaker and author, Papageorgiou has addressed topics of strategic management, development and partnerships, organizational design and development, technology deployment and management, logistics and supply chain management, as well as quality deployment. 

Papageorgiou holds a bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and professional certifications in strategic management, project management, technology management and scenario-based planning.
