MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – September 28th, 2009 – Karen Cariss, CEO of leading Integrated Talent Management solutions provider, PageUp People, has been selected as a Victorian finalist in the 2009 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
Cariss was named as one of 4 finalists in the Commonwealth Bank Business Owner Category. Finalists were selected based on their business acumen, financial success, work life balance, leadership qualities and a commitment to being the best they can be.
As a business owner Cariss has realised significant success, having built the company over 12 years ago to today having an $8 million turnover, offices globally and supporting some of the world’s largest organisation’s HR practices.
Cariss noted the process as being very positive and noted how extremely privileged she feels to have been able to build such a successful company from the ground up. ’It is very humbling to be named as a finalist in these awards amongst such good company.
