The online production, “Are Your Plan Participants Financially Savvy? How Proactive Plan Sponsors Can Make a Difference,” will be available at www.ifebp.org beginning on Monday, April 2. Numerous other resources will be available to help those responsible for benefit plans celebrate the day and educate themselves, as well as their participants, including:

•A special buy one, get one free book offer
•Premium items, including a piggy bank and t-shirt for purchase.
“Financial literacy has become a key area of interest for the International Foundation’s members,” said CEO Michael Wilson. “As benefit plan sponsors, they see significant value in educating their participants in making informed and appropriate financial decisions.”
National Employee Benefits Day was created in 2004 by the International Foundation. It recognizes the efforts put forth by those responsible for employee benefit plans. Many plan sponsors use the day to renew their commitment to employee benefits education.
