MindSolve Technologies' MVP 5.1 brings new features to online Employee Performance Management

MVP 5.1 rounds out MindSolve´s Legal Toolkit with the introduction of the Legal MinderTM language scanner.

Gainesville, Florida (October 5, 2005) - MindSolve Technologies will release version 5.1 of MindSolve Visual Performance (MVP), its flagship Employee Performance Management (EPM) software suite, at HR Executive´s HR Technology Conference & Exposition in Chicago this week.

Most of version 5.1´s new features were driven by customer demand and changing business environments. "Our single-point-of-contact, high-touch service model gives us the unique ability to quickly respond to customer needs," says Jeff Lyons, Chief Client Officer. "By being attentive and responsive, with each release we´re able to introduce some unique new features that set MVP apart from other, less configurable EPM solutions."

MVP 5.1 rounds out MindSolve´s Legal Toolkit with the introduction of the Legal MinderTM language scanner. Legal Minder identifies legally inappropriate or risky comments and offers alternative wording. While other EPM software offers language scanning capability, "we have developed the most comprehensive and adaptable legal scanner in the industry," Lyons says. "Partnering with an employment law firm, we developed logic that not only identifies risky language by words and phrases, but applies contextual logic, so there aren´t a bunch of false alarms."

"Legal Minder can be customized by a client to specify language to flag - or not - under certain conditions. This is helpful especially in cases where a company´s product or project may contain a word or acronym that might be considered risky terminology in other contexts," Lyons says.

Other 5.1 enhancements include manager and department head capability to edit employee information directly from a dashboard, an organizational tree browser incorporated into manager and employee dashboards, and advanced searching capability within the system.

Technical improvements included in 5.1 optimize performance across all servers, with impressive gains in response time over an already powerful system. "Large clients with tens of thousands of users will see big benefits from these improvements, and even smaller clients with hundreds of users will see speeds two to ten times faster than previous versions," says Dan Boccabella,
