NEW YORK, October 16, 2006 -- Michael Gizzo, a finance and management consultant with 25 years of experience, has joined HR consulting firm ORC Worldwide as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
Mr. Gizzo was most recently the managing director of the New York office of The Johnsson Group, the finance transformation arm of Altran, Inc. There, for four years, he advised CFOs of leading organizations on ways to become more valued business partners with management. He led seminars for CFOs and other finance personnel on finance transformation and excellence in planning.

Prior to consulting, Mr. Gizzo served as Director of Business Process and Compliance at Asbury Automotive, a $6.5 billion auto retailer based in Stamford, Connecticut. At Grolier Inc., a publishing and direct-mail unit of Paris-based Lagardere Group, he managed the corporate planning function, directed Grolier´s business development activities, and spearheaded financial process and system reengineering efforts.
Mr. Gizzo holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA from Iona College. He succeeds Jeffrey Wenger, who is retiring at the end of 2006 after more than 27 years at ORC Worldwide.
