Mercer Human Resource Consulting has developed a new survey that provides key insights about the HR function and level of engagement of HR professionals around the world.
The Global Satisfaction Survey on HR Careers, the first of its kind in recent years, includes responses from more than 2,700 participants across 31 industries in 48 countries (12 in the Americas, 18 in Europe, and 18 in Asia Pacific). The majority of participants have been working in the field of human resources for 10 years or more.
“The outlook, performance, and careers of those in the HR profession is becoming increasingly important as leadership continues to recognize the value of this role in implementing initiatives that affect the company’s bottom line,” said Karen Piercy, principal with Mercer. “This survey provides a snapshot of the HR profession.”
