Making the Career Transition Smoother For Veterans:

MilitaryStars Opens New Venues in Atlanta, Denver, New York, Phoenix to Connect Military, Employers

February 1, 2006 -- As military personnel steadily return from service abroad, they reenter the employment market uncertain of what type of job awaits, or if one even does.

To address the growing need for post-military employment support, MilitaryStars is expanding into four new locations for its military-exclusive hiring events in 2006.  Atlanta, GA is one of the newest destinations for the nation´s premier military career expo company, and with MilitaryStars´ regional approach, candidates throughout the Southeast Region will now have a second location - Jacksonville being the first - in which to find top quality civilian employment.

"That´s where MilitaryStars comes in," said CEO Hal Fischer.  "With our regional approach, we can connect veterans with both national and regional civilian employers looking to hire military talent from a specific region of the country.  This gives candidates throughout the region an opportunity for a great civilian career while it delivers to employers the best military talent available, and all in one location."

Set for February 20th at the Marriott Atlanta Airport Hotel, the 12pm - 5pm MilitaryStars Southeast Regional Career Expo will draw over 1,000 pre-registered military job seekers to one location where 40-50 heavily sought-after military-friendly employers will all be looking to hire veterans.

"With an average of between 100-200 military job seekers securing employment from each event, attending our career expos truly is the way veterans find post-military careers," said Fischer.  "MilitaryStars makes the transition to civilian life smoother, and now we´re doing it in four new venues."

In addition to Atlanta, MilitaryStars will roll out new venues in New York, Denver and Phoenix, bringing the total number of scheduled events to 18 in 2006.  Regular stops still include Washington, DC, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Dallas, San Diego and Los Angeles.

MilitaryStars, a veteran-owned military hiring event company, furthers its mission to assist transitioning military and veterans in finding civilian jobs via regional career expos throughout the United States.  To learn more about attending, please visit www.militarystars.com, or call (800) 775-1415.
