ATLANTA (June 12, 2006) - Lucas Group, an executive search firm, announced upcoming Military Hiring Conferences in Atlanta, Dallas, Irvine, Calif. and Norfolk, Va.
The conference dates are: Dallas, June 23; Norfolk, Va., July 13, Irvine, Calif., July 14; and Atlanta, July 14.
The conferences are venues for companies seeking candidates with hands-on leadership and technical experience in the U.S. Military to fill immediate employment needs. Their work ethic, loyalty and mission-orientated mindset make them excellent employees for companies of all sizes.
Corporations that attend meet with highly-qualified and motivated candidates that have been specifically selected for the job openings the corporations are seeking to fill. The format ensures the candidates with whom they are scheduled to meet are qualified and interested in the opportunities.
"Our recent conferences in D.C. and Chicago had over 100 candidates and 65 companies in attendance at each event," said Bryan Zawikowski, division director of Lucas Group´s Military division. "In San Diego, we had over 150 candidates and 70 corporations confirmed to attend. These numbers are not surprising given the tightening labor market and increased demand for leadership talent as many companies come to the realization that their growth is limited by their ability to find and develop people."
