Industry experts and senior-level practitioners – who know firsthand the issues and challenges facing HR and HRIM professionals – will share their insight on talent management, Web 2.0, onboarding, shared services, data management, metrics, and HR systems selection and implementation. They also will provide advice on how to leverage technology functionalities and do more with less given today’s economic climate.
IHRIM is the leading professional association for knowledge, education and solutions supporting human capital management. Its 29th conference, held from April 19-22 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, offers more than 55 educational programs and eight half-day, full-day or two-day seminars that are approved for Human Resource Certification Institute credit hours. Attendees also will have the opportunity to take IHRIM’s new Certified Human Resources Information Management Professional (PHRI) certification practice test at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 18.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and HR practitioners from some of the world’s leading companies – Nissan North America, Coca Cola Enterprises Hallmark Cards, Inc., Hyatt Corporation, Qualcomm, Inc., among others – who will share their insight on HR technological solutions that deliver results for your organization and your career.
“Whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned veteran, the IHRIM conference provides you with new ideas, practical tips and up-to-the minute solutions for your HR technology and information management needs,” said Lynne Mealy, IHRIM’s president and CEO. “Our interactive iStream sessions promote informative exchanges with industry experts and colleagues, and include topics such as managing a multi-generational work force, implementing an HR technology strategy, applying new technologies to an older system and getting and keeping funding for your HR technology projects.”
Complementing the educational series is the Exposition Hall, which features displays and demonstrations of the newest HR technology solutions by product and service leaders.
