CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2006--Kronos(R) Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON) today announced the appointment of John O'Brien to oversee sales of the company's products and services in North America. In this new position of vice president of sales for North America, O'Brien reports to Joe DeMartino, senior vice president of North American field operations.
O'Brien garnered his expertise in technology and software sales in his previous executive positions at EMC Corporation and Xerox Corporation. At EMC, O'Brien served as vice president of global sales for EMC2 and was responsible for revenue and customer satisfaction for the company's largest customers. During his tenure at Xerox, he held a variety of senior sales management and marketing roles. His last position at Xerox was senior vice president and general manager responsible for financial services and healthcare operations in the Americas.
