WAYNE, PA (March 15, 2010) – Al Kramer, a Founding Principal of Kelleher Associates and leader of the firm’s business development activities, has announced his retirement, effective April 1, 2010.
“Al has been instrumental in building both Kelleher’s business and reputation within and beyond the Philadelphia business community,” said Ed Kelleher, Founder of Kelleher Associates. “He has been an integral member of the firm since its inception, and his professionalism, integrity, and caring have always represented and communicated the values that characterize our firm. We will deeply miss his innate goodness, energy, and advocacy.”
Kramer’s business background and experience include executive positions with leading technology, healthcare, and human resource firms. During his 25-year career with Leeds & Northrup Company, he directed a technical marketing group of more than 300 sales and service personnel located in 60 field locations. Later, as President of a Leeds & Northrup company, he was responsible for strategic planning and operational facilities worldwide.
Following executive roles at Leeds & Northrup, Kramer made a significant career transition. As Vice President of Business Development for a medical rehabilitation organization, he developed and managed a national program that established alliances with multiple managed care providers and payers throughout the U.S. Before joining Kelleher Associates, Kramer was a Principal with Millard Consulting Services, Inc., a regional outplacement firm, assisting executives in making successful career transitions.
Kramer has been active in regional human resources groups, including the Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Society, recently serving as Treasurer. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, followed by graduate work at Johns Hopkins University. He is a former Board member of First Republic Bank in Philadelphia and has also served on the Boards of the YMCA in Ambler, PA and the Philadelphia World Affairs Council.
Succeeding Al Kramer is Anne Robson, who has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice-President, Chief Client Officer, for Kelleher Associates.
“Anne is a key member of the Kelleher Associates team, and has distinguished herself as both a career management consultant and executive coach for a number of companies in the region,” said Mitch Wienick, President and CEO of Kelleher Associates. “We are lucky to have Anne available to tackle the difficult job of filling such large shoes. With her high energy, experience, and customer focus, we look forward to expanding our role in the marketplace.”
Prior to joining Kelleher Associates, Robson was Director of Strategic Alliances and Planning for McKesson Health Solutions, part of a $106+ billion health management solutions company. While there, she built and leveraged enduring business partner relationships. Anne also held senior executive positions in marketing, strategic planning, and business development at Ernst & Young, LLC.
Robson began her career at Eastman Kodak Company, a company with one of the world's most recognized brand names. While at Kodak, she held a number of sales and marketing leadership positions in the consumer, commercial, and service-oriented business sectors, including three years of international experience in Europe. Robson’s last position at Eastman Kodak was Executive Director of the Kodak Healthcare Business Services consulting organization.
Robson holds an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Executive Development Program. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Junior League, the Delaware Valley Cystic Fibrosis Association, and the Montgomery County Association for the Blind. Robson currently co-chairs the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group Power Breakfast.
