Innovative process utilizes team cooking to improve teamwork, communication and trust

San Jose, Calif., November 7, 2005 -- The Glowan Consulting Group and Chef Dionne Drislane today introduced the innovative "Team Table" team building program for manages and executives. The new program requires participants to utilize creativity and experimentation inside clearly defined boundaries while emphasizing achieving the desired goal -- an extraordinary meal for the team.

The Team Table program begins with an assessment of the team's current level of effectiveness performed prior to the actual cooking event.  The morning of the event, he data from the assessment is presented to the participants and facilitators employ a variety of tools and techniques to guide the team towards discovering their positive team behaviors and those that hinder operating at a higher level.

Following the introductory session, the participants prepare a gourmet meal under the guidance of Chef Drislane and the Glowan facilitators.  The team members will meet challenges to the group's creativity, communication skills, cooperation, and timeframe/resource management.

Everything from the menu to the food preparation techniques is designed to stress the skills required by the team to achieve its full potential.
