Computer equipment donation will help fund IT career training programs

(Vocus/PRWEB ) October 21, 2008 -- The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Educational Foundation announced today that is has a received a donation of $10,000 worth of computer equipment from Ingram Micro Inc., the world's largest technology distributor, to be used in the foundation's Creating Futures Bids 4 Futures online auction.

The CompTIA Educational Foundation's Creating Futures program began Bids 4 Futures as another way to raise funds for career education and training programs designed to address the shortage of skilled information technology (IT) professionals.
