Xsell Resources was named in the top 100 on Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 500 list, identifying the fastest growing private businesses in the country.
WILLOW GROVE, Pa.-August 27, 2007-Inc. magazine has announced its 26th annual Inc. 500 ranking of the 500 fastest growing private companies in the country. One of the Delaware Valley's own, Xsell Resources, Inc. a leading IT recruiting and job placement firm, ranks in the top 100 on the list this year, with three-year growth of more than 300 percent.
When Xsell Resources launched in 2002, founder Colleen Haviland envisioned a company that could find the best higher-level placements for a clientele of IT and SAP professionals. Today, with thousands of qualified candidates in their database, partnerships with established Fortune 500 companies, routine placements of job seekers, and recognition as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, the Xsell staff has certainly met their objective.
"We're thrilled to be included on this prestigious list alongside some of the nation's leading companies," Haviland says. "My executive team has put five years of work into Xsell, and now we're seeing the huge return. This venture has grown into exactly the kind of company I imagined when we were just starting out, and it feels great to be recognized for our efforts."
Haviland has 17 years of experience in the HR business and has just launched another division of Xsell Resources, Ready to Hire (www.ReadyToHire.com), characterized as the next generation of online staffing services.
"If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500," says Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. "These are the most innovative, dynamic, fast-growth companies in the nation. The ones coming up with solutions to some of our most intractable ills, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can't live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine's tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition."
The 2007 Inc. 500 companies were engines of job growth, having created more than 64,064 jobs since those companies were founded. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies) as of December 31, 2006, have at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.
