Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 21, 2010 -- In response to increasing demand for its early stage clinical research services Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services, Inc. today announced the addition of Philip Davies as its new Vice President of Phase I Clinical Operations and the appointment of Roslyn Lavrich as the Vice President of Quality Systems and Regulatory Affairs.
With over 25 years of experience in early stage clinical research, from both the pharmaceutical and contract services perspective, Phil Davies brings a unique and deep understanding of the Phase I research clinical trials industry. He joins Novum from Kendle International, where he was responsible for multiple Phase I clinics in North America and Europe. Prior to Kendle, he spent six years at Eli Lilly, providing overall leadership for the operational components of the Global Exploratory and Program Phase Medical group. He has also formerly held related roles in UK, Germany and Netherlands. Philip holds an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Metropolitan University in Manchester England.
Roslyn Lavrich assumes the newly created position of Vice President of Quality Systems and Regulatory Affairs. For the past 15 years Lavrich has had overall day to day responsibility for Novum’s Phase I operations. This has included hosting over 20 regulatory authority inspections and several hundred Sponsor QA and study specific audits.
