A few assumptions were made when the content for this webcast was developed and included: the assumption that members of the audience have all either recently made the decision to use an automated performance management solution or have been using one for a while and are interested in ways to increase user adoption. The other assumption made is that participants have already taken the appropriate steps to ensure the best technology selection to fit requirements. This webcast will address practical steps that can be put in place to increase the success of a performance management software implementation.
In order to benefit or maximize the benefits of an implementation, all employees must be making full use of the system and a well-planned change management program is a significant contributor to success in this regard.
One of the first steps is to determine whether or not you need to make any changes to your performance management process. Usually this has taken place before the vendor selection process due to the need for detailed requirements to guide the research and in order to adequately prepare to view vendor demos. Once established, these requirements may still need to be modified as the chosen vendor may offer functionality that was not previously considered or the solution selected may not be able to accommodate all existing requirements. Decisions should be made with involvement or representation on behalf of all key stakeholder groups.
