IHRIM Announces Call for Presentations for HRMStrategies 2008 set for June 1-4 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel, Lake Buena Vista, Florida
Burlington, MA (PRWEB) August 1, 2007 -- IHRIM, the leading professional association for knowledge, education and solutions supporting human capital management, is requesting presentations for their HRMStrategies 2008 Conference. For more than 27 years, IHRIM's Annual Conference has offered attendees the perfect blend of networking, education and technological solutions to issues facing HR and HR systems professionals. You are invited to submit a proposal, to share your experience and expertise with your colleagues, and become recognized as presenting at the world’s most prestigious HR technology conference.

The focus of these sessions is intended to be educational in nature, delivered by senior practitioners and industry thought-leaders, sharing practical knowledge that can be applied in the workplace and help attendees improve their effectiveness. These sessions are not meant to showcase or promote a speaker or company’s services or product offerings. Creative and innovative approaches to the topics are encouraged. Rely on your day-to-day experiences as well as best practices, management successes, tools and techniques for topic ideas. All sessions are 75 minutes in length, allowing for a 60 minute presentation and 15 minutes for questions and answers. IHRIM is also inviting the submission of proposals for Pre-Conference Educational Courses. Pre-Conference Education Courses will be held on May 31 and June 1 in conjunction with HRMStrategies 2008. Course lengths of a half-day (3.5 total education hours) and a full-day (6.5 total education hours) are accepted. All courses are submitted for HRCI recertification credit hours and the courses require attendees to pre-register and pay an additional fee for attendance. For both the Concurrent Sessions and Pre-Conference Educational Courses presentations, IHRIM is seeking qualified persons to speak on topics relevant to the following Knowledge Areas. This list of suggested topics is provided as a guide and is not all-inclusive:
