iCIMS Partners with 3 Phases Energy andEarth Share of New Jersey to Support Environmental Causes

iCIMS Joins EPA Green Power Partnership Program
HAZLET, N.J. (October 30, 2006) iCIMS, a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, today announced that it has made commitments with two organizations to support a healthy environment.  Over the next three years, iCIMS plans to purchase 450 MWh of green power Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) to offset more than 100% of the electricity generated by its corporate headquarters.

To support this initiative, iCIMS has partnered with 3 Phases Energy Services, LLC as its provider of Green-e® Certified RECs.  The Green-e Renewable Energy Certification Program is the nation’s leading independent certification and verification program for renewable energy products.  The Center for Resource Solutions, a San Francisco-based non-profit administers the program and ensures that strict environmental and consumer protection standards are met.

iCIMS’ commitment to purchase RECs will support wind power at the Blue Canyon Wind Farm in Oklahoma along with other nationwide wind facilities.  The impact of iCIMS’ commitment will help prevent the release of more than 626,400 pounds (about 284 metric tons) of carbon dioxide (CO2), the leading greenhouse gas from entering the atmosphere; an equivalent environmental benefit of removing more than 60 average passenger vehicles from U.S. roadways for one year or planting 237 acres of trees storing carbon for one year.

Additionally, iCIMS has joined the Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Power Partnership, a voluntary program that seeks to increase the use of clean, renewable energy sources among leading U.S. organizations.

In another effort to support the environment, iCIMS has partnered with Earth Share of New Jersey to promote education and charitable giving to environmental and conservation member organizations.  Through iCIMS’ iCARE Program, employees have the option of donating to three major organizations that are making great strides in renewable energy research and application: The NJ Audubon Society, The Environmental & Energy Study Institute and The Rocky Mountain Institute.  They also have the option of designing their gift to New Jersey environmental groups as a whole or any one of the 61 organizations represented by Earth Share of New Jersey.  iCIMS employees have an opportunity to make a one-time gift or have the gift deducted from their paycheck each week.  As an incentive, iCIMS will match employee donations with $1 for every $3 donated.

“iCIMS is truly committed to promoting a healthier environment and we believe businesses, communities and individuals must work together to assist in this effort,” explained Colin Day, CEO of iCIMS.  “We are proud to support renewable energy and to be a part of the EPA’s Green Power Partnership program.  Our employees have also embraced this effort on an individual basis, helping to support iCIMS’ commitment to renewable energy and the environment,” Day added.
