CHICAGO - The Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE) announced today that its capital fundraising campaign known as FutureSITE: Investing in Tomorrow - Today, is the benefactor of a $100,000 USD donation by the Hyatt Hotel Corporation.
"All of us at the Hyatt Hotel Corporation are excited to partner with SITE in their FutureSite campaign. As the leaders in corporate America continue to outsource their incentive and employee motivation needs, SITE members and service will become even more important to the hospitality industry. We believe that SITE provides the talent, resources and tools required to grow the industry - and Hyatt is proud of that effort," said Ty Hems, Senior Vice President, Sales, Hyatt Hotel Corporation.
Contributions made to the FutureSite campaign are used to fund initiatives that benefit SITE members, local and regional chapters and up and coming industry practitioners. Specifically, the donation from the Hyatt Corporation will fund SITE´s Strategic Initiatives.
"Hyatt Hotel Corporation´s donation to FutureSite confirms their dedication to the incentive and travel industry and their commitment to advancing the growth and talent of our membership," said Lex Granaada, SITE President and Managing Partner, Granaada & Partner.
The donation by the Hyatt Hotel Corporation adds to the $1.5 million USD total raised since the campaigns inception. "I mirror Lex´s comments that this solidifies the Hyatt Hotel Corporation´s commitment to the advancement of the inventive and travel industry, we are simply thrilled to be so close to reaching our $2 million dollar goal through their generosity," said SITE CEO Brenda Anderson.
